You may not skateboard or use any other type of toy vehicle on the road or the sidewalks in the downtown business district. For more information about where you can or can't skateboard please contact the police department for an updated copy of the ordinance.
You are allowed to have up to 5 animals at any single premises, unless you purchase a kennel license. However, all animals within the city limits must be licensed. You may purchase the license from the Prairie Grove Water Department.
Burning inside the city limits is only allowed in areas zoned A1 and then only after obtaining a permit from the Prairie Grove Water Department.
According to Prairie Grove City Ordinance 5.08, grass must not exceed 6" in heigth and all property must be maintained in a clean sanitary condition, which means it must remain free from trash and other rubish. In addition, Prairie Grove City Ordinance 8.12 prohibits inoperable motor vehicles in residential areas.
There is a curfew in Prairie Grove for all individuals under the age of 18. That curfew is as follows:
You must obtain a yard sale permit from the Prairie Grove Water Department; failure to do so can result in a citation to appear in the Prairie Grove District Court and a possible fine. Once you obtain your permit make sure you do not use box signs or signs on utility poles.
