The Animal Control unit operates under the Police Department. The unit handles animal complaints,
investigates animal ordinance violations, and issue citations or warnings as necessary within the
city limits of Prairie Grove.
Unclaimed animals will only be held for 10 days at the Prairie Grove facility.
Persons wishing to adopt an animal should contact the Prairie Grove Police Department at (479)
846-3270, Monday through Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
To adopt an animal a $5.00 donation is requested per animal.
